Tribeca
Tribeca is by far one of the most desirable places to live in Manhattan. Like Soho, Tribeca was formerly an industrial center before being rezoned for residential use. Wealthy New Yorkers became increasingly drawn to the area for its edgier atmosphere and the neighborhood continues to draw influential people today—which can be seen in the perpetual rise of breathtaking buildings—making it the most expensive neighborhood in New York City.
Tribeca is an excellent neighborhood for young families to raise children. Narrow cobblestone streets limit car traffic and keep the neighborhood quieter and calmer than some of the surrounding areas. While Tribeca is much more secluded than its neighbors, the area still has access to subway lines and plenty of upscale shops, restaurants, and nightlife.
